A man, as husband and father

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thing house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Ps 128:3 (KJV). When a male child is born, the prayer of every parent is for him to grow to become a man, then become a husband and later in life become a father. But not every male child has the grace to pass through three phases of life.

For this reason, I sincerely pray that you and your son(s) will not only pass through these phases of life but will also surpass them by becoming a grandfather and great grandfather in Jesus name. “Each of three phases of life is attached with responsibilities and duties. Becoming a man is not a matter of age alone but of maturity also. It is not every married man that can be called husband because being a husband is attached with responsibility likewise. Impregnating a woman and having a child can make you a father in biological terms but not in the real sense of being a father. Apart from responsibilities, there are other challenges attached to being a man, husband and father.
